The Well is a holistic wellness center located in the heart of Marfa, Texas. The Well is a sanctuary. A refuge. We believe that healthy lifestyle choices can help you heal and enjoy your body and life. At The Well, you will enjoy therapeutic massage, custom facials, haircuts, chiropractic and acupuncture treatments, yoga classes and retreats, Zen Meditation, and Pilates mat classes.   Our space features fourteen-foot ceilings and old oak floors and is filled with natural Marfa light and quiet desert vibes. Our shop, Naluna, features fine wines, carpets from Afghanistan, exotic imports from Thailand, India, and Bhutan, as well as ANC Herbal Tinctures and skin&soul body care, made in Marfa, Texas.

Saturday morning Hatha Yoga, 9:30-10:30am, with Rae Anna, is here to stay!  She will also start offering a Thursday evening, 6-7pm Hatha class on Thursday evenings 6-7pm, starting August 20. Rae Anna is currently interning at the Chinati Foundation and has taught at Bhava Yoga Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico and SATYA Yoga in Rhinebeck, NY.

Dr Lawson visits to offer his acupuncture and chiropractic care this Labor Day weekend, Friday September 4 and Saturday September 5.  Online booking available.

Colorist Jodi Steagall, of 220 Salon in Portland, Oregon, will be back for her quarterly visit in October.

Guest Yoga Instructor Mallory Leitner visits us Saturday October 3.  10:00-noon – “Get ORGANized” and 1:30-3:30 – “Root to Bloom Restorative”                         Mallory Leitner, M.A., LMFT, RYT has been studying yoga for 25 years and teaching for 17. Yoga and all that it encompasses is her “go to” when life throws challenges her way. It has never let her down and keeps her grounded and real. She holds many teaching certificates in various lineages and is certified to teach adults, children, prenatal yoga, therapeutic restorative yoga, and trauma sensitive yoga. She specializes in yoga for PTSD and Complex Trauma and yoga for the Organ System and it’s role in our emotional and physical lives. Her greatest influences are B.K.S. Iyengar, T.K.V. Desikachar, Erich Schiffmann, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Judith Lasater, Cheri Clampett and Yogi Bhajan. Mallory is playful, compassionate and supportive in her teaching style. She is super excited and honored to be back in Marfa teaching at The Well; the location of the original “Yoga Marfa” which she founded in 2002.
